Job Summary :

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for candidate with experience as JAVA VXML IVR with 7 + Years experience.

Location: Remote, US

Duration: Full Time only – “Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).”

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Job Description and Qualifications include: (This is a hands-on development role)

Required :

Ø Java VXML IVR development skills with Voice XML, Genesys, Cloud technologies

Ø Java, j2ee development experience with strong contact center background

Ø Java, J2EE with Genesys Routing background

Ø Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.

Ø Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles.

Ø Demonstrated experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Subversion…

Ø Advanced experience with application development on Java, J2EE, Spring, and MVC, Java Design Patterns and JUnit.

Ø Advanced experience with JMS and Messaging Products

Ø Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle/SQL Server, SQL

Ø Expert knowledge of Web service technologies including SOAP/REST.

Ø Strong working knowledge of IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven and Tomcat.

Ø Strong working knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Cloud Foundry, AWS,…

Ø Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic

Ø Ability to deliver in a fast paced global team environment.

Ø Test-infected attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing)

Ø Some knowledge of Call Routing Platform (Genesys)

Ø Education

o BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

o Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment
