Senior level attorney specializing in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) law.

Position Description:Position may also be located in Colorado Springs or Denver, Colorado; Birmingham, Alabama or Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Manage client relationships with EHS technical staff, and EHS and Business Unit management.
Represent company in submittals and meetings with local, state and federal environmental agencies.
Assist commercial attorneys and litigators with EHS issues.
Manage and work with outside counsel with respect to EHS compliance and enforcement matters, and EHS litigation including CERCLA litigation.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Four-year Undergraduate Degree and Juris Doctorate from accredited schools; license to practice in Texas preferred.
Required Experience:
At least 7 years of direct experience with EHS legal matters.
Experience working on a variety of environmental matters; i.e., air, water and soil.
Working knowledge of Federal environmental and safety laws such as CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, DOT-PHMSA, OSHA and those agencies’ supporting regulations.
Working knowledge of local, state and federal environmental agencies in key states; i.e., Texas, Florida, New Jersey, California, Louisiana, Tennessee and New York.
Preferred Experience:
Work in the energy mid-stream space including liquid and bulk terminals, refined products pipelines, gathering systems, or natural gas pipelines.
Work on legal issues associated with CERCLA sites and other long- and short-term remediation projects.
Experience with Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act compliance and permitting issues.
The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. This position may perform other duties as assigned.
Pay range: $201,200 – $301,800 per year. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.
