Job Description
The Manager of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing the Vericast Retail Media long term strategic plan. This position works closely with the Retail Media senior leadership team on strategic growth initiatives, 3rd party partnerships, alliances, and/or mergers & acquisitions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Key leadership role responsible for driving the Retail Media product strategy including identifying markets, determine market-sizing and go to market strategy.
- Responsible for gathering and incorporating Product vision and strategy into activities. Analyzes technology of Vericast acquisitions, integration of the technologies across the broader organization, for improving operational efficiencies; determines value propositions based on moving the technology forward as either internal-facing, or consumer-facing.
- Sources and executes partnerships, data purchase, and other strategic and operational agreements
- Works internally with high levels of leadership (Officers, VPs, Product Mangers/Owners) who have to support an offering from a partner (example Sales with revenue-generating product proposals)
- Targets key strategic initiatives: analysis of spend, contract negotiations, needs assessments from a partnership perspective, builds business cases for partnership (3rd party partners, measurement of foot traffic, Sales POS)
- Assesses external opportunities, gathers intelligence, and analyzes various partnership alternatives to accomplish Vericast long-term objectives.
- Partners with Product at multiple Vericast businesses, identifies all stakeholders.
- Manages requests from Sales and Product by responding to requests, understanding customer needs and exploring potential strategic alliances to support key clients; managed via a team “inbox”
- Manages the entire deal process with external and internal parties with the support of the broader Business Development team.
- Negotiates, coordinates, and manages the legal document development process (including term sheets, LOIs, and definitive agreements) in coordination with the Head of Business Development.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 3-5 years of Retail Media experience.
- 8 – 10 years expertise in digital advertising or marketing tech with diverse experience across businesses and industries (Preferred).
- At least 7-10 years of business experience, preferred strong strategic planning and analysis and general management abilities required.

- Self-sufficient and comfortable presenting concepts and strategic rationale to both senior leadership and external partners.
- Able to plan and prioritize projects and to manage them from conception to conclusion including identifying and resolving problems to ensure project accuracy and timelines
- Must be comfortable communicating with Senior level leadership SVP, Officers, Group President; external company owners, etc.
Additional Information
Salary:$120,000-$135,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
