General Purpose
Under direct supervision, the Community Inclusion and Engagement (CI & E) Assistant is responsible for supporting objectives regarding CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Efforts, Public Relations, Business Development and Recruiting.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Provides administrative support in all functions of related activities regarding CRA efforts, Public Relations, Business Development and Recruiting. Prioritizes and negotiates organizational needs regarding meetings, timeframes, and deadlines.
- Serves as a liaison between the CI&E division and other divisions and across Alpine Bank and Partners.
- Coordinates and supports partnerships and engagements for associations and organizations.
- Interacts and communicates with a strong degree of judgment and discretion.
- Coordinates, facilitates, and implements solutions with internal and external organizations and customers.
- Manages office supplies and keeps the office and storage areas organized.
- Manages the ordering and monitoring of divisional marketing brand material? and oversees adherence to Alpine Bank Branding guidelines.
- Has a high-level understanding of the overall department budget for CI&E coordinates with accounting and staff providing receipts, expense reports, etc.
- Receives clients and visitors.
- Manages the division’s calendar and assists with event planning activities.
- Organizes and supports events across all of Alpine Bank’s footprint.
- Performs other duties as needed to maintain smooth operation of the department and others within Alpine Bank to support relevant Bank strategic goals and objectives.
- Regular and reliable in-person attendance is required.

- Working knowledge of the operational structure, and Division of Community Inclusion and Engagement leader’s responsibilities, priorities, and commitments
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor; willingness and ability to deal with internal and external constituents in a professional, confidential, friendly, and responsive manner via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems in a changing environment.
- Self-starter with ability to coordinate several tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
- A high degree of integrity with a strong ability to maintain confidentiality and behave in an ethical manner.
- Experience maintaining detailed records.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Education or Formal Training:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver’s License required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
- Some experience working in administrative or public relations functions is preferred.
Working Conditions
Working Environment:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Frequent travel may be required.
- Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
Physical Activities:
These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required; it would require the ability to reach for and lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee may have to lift up to 50 pounds.

Starting Rate of Pay is from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
