Job Description
City: Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL or Seattle, WA. Team is located in both California and Florida.
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: 4 days a week onsite
Duration: 18 months
Rate Range: $75 to $85/hr in W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization: US Citizens or GC candidates only
Responsibilities:
• Understand cyber security impact in the organization and how to apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements
• Work directly with the Information Security team and business technical teams to program manage the overall information security program in the Corporate segment
• Assist customers in identifying process improvement opportunities; work with customers to develop improvement plans
• Work with business technical teams to program manage self-assessments against security compliance
• Act as liaison between Infosec, business technology teams; develop and maintain strong relationship with key customer contacts
• Program manage progress of multiple initiatives/project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Perform daily, weekly and/or monthly reviews and analyses of progress using operational metrics and reports
• Suggest changes to management using analytics to support recommendations
• Conduct analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Ability to refine complex and difficult concepts into easy-to-understand communications
• Ability to tailor technical and planning information to a customer’s level of understanding
• Familiarity with Information Security best practices and the role of security policy in business operations
• Ability to influence operations and effect change without being confrontational
• Demonstrated skill in managing client relationships and expectations and demonstrating commitment to delivering quality results.
• Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Access required
• Detail oriented and analytical
• Experience in large, geographically diverse, organizations preferred
Candidate will be working alongside the manager to help move these various projects forward and get the team caught up with initiatives. This position is focused primarily on assisting delivery teams with making good security decisions aligned with company policies and best practices.
TOP SKILLS NEEDED:
1. Experience in large, heterogenous environments and delivery of security guidance to application teams.
2. Information security background or background in auditing within security environment.
3. Experience supporting the review, compliance and auditing of PCI assets.
