Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to join our amazing team! The Strategy and Business Development organization at Sling TV is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to lead the Marketing Analytics team. Marketing Analytics works closely with Sling’s marketing and finance teams to drive acquisition and profitability goals. The Marketing Analytics Manager will be responsible for performing analyses of marketing campaigns and making recommendations to increase profitable activations. This person must have a strong understanding of A/B testing, predictive modeling, advanced technical skills, and the ability to communicate difficult concepts in a simple, concise fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations to all levels of the business in order to improve the effectiveness of marketing spend in addition to improving subscriber acquisition and retention
- Perform analysis of marketing attribution and Sling customer data to determine who our best customers are and how to target them
- Setup and evaluate A/B tests in order to determine the effectiveness of campaign spend
- Lead, develop, and mentor three marketing analysts
- Perform ad hoc requests with large data sets
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (Masters preferred)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of work experience directly tied to marketing analytics
- Minimum 1 year of management experience with at least one direct report
- Ability to communicate complex analyses to various audiences in a clear, concise form
- Experience setting up and evaluating A/B tests
- Demonstrated ability to derive business value out of complex data/models to create significant change within an organization
- Advanced skills with SQL and knowledge of statistical programming languages (Python/R); experience building and deploying predictive models strongly preferred
- Understanding of subscription businesses, attribution data, and digital marketing channels; multi-touch attribution (MTA) and mixed media modeling (MMM) preferred
- Deep understanding of data processes and structures; experience with big data preferred (Hadoop, AWS, GCP)
- Understanding of Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) analysis preferred
Salary Range
Compensation: $100,100.00/Year – $143,000.00/Year
