The AWS Financial Services Industry Marketing team is seeking an experienced marketing professional with a diverse marketing background, and expertise in Demand Generation and Field Marketing. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing business and to transform the way we interact with our customers. As Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a Field Marketing strategy to drive industry awareness and increase adoption of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) across North America. You will work with regional marketing teams to develop FSI industry specific strategies and initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy and syndicate key learnings and assets across all areas of our organization (Sales, Product, Marketing, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Business Development, and Partner/Alliances). This role requires a strategic thinker, able to analyze and interpret data, providing creative solutions to address gaps and areas of opportunity.
The ideal candidate is a driven, self-starter with a proven track record for synthesizing data and customer insights to develop high-impact, end-to-end marketing strategies.
Position will be located in an Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office based in New York, NY. Relocation offered from within the US.

Key job responsibilities
– Develop comprehensive integrated marketing plans to increase awareness, accelerate the sales cycle, grow advocacy, and increase sales across multiple channels, in support of Sales priorities and revenue goals.
– Design a segmentation strategy that creates specialized customer experiences based on sales cycle stage, tenure, persona sub-vertical focus and/or propensity to buy.
– Identify internal opportunities to leverage global marketing and product resources to create customized financial services events and campaigns.
– Lead internal cross-functional teams and external agencies through event and campaign development, design, and implementation.
– Create campaign deliverables including: Sales tools, tip sheets, demand generation email and direct mail communications, videos, social media ads and posts.
– Develop program scorecards, regularly tracking results and provide updates. Use event and campaign pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities.
– Educate Sales and cross-functional stakeholders about Field Marketing programs; equip Sales with the necessary tools to execute event and campaign elements independently.
– Manage a Field Marketing calendar to ensure alignment with broader Marketing and organization calendars, and to ensure events and campaigns are being delivered in conjunction with account plans and business unit objectives.
– Develop event playbooks and templates to create consistency across financial services NAMER events, to automate the event communications process and to advise Sales.
– Design small to large-sized customer events in NAMER, owning all project management and end-to-end planning and execution.
– Responsible for AWS Financial Services event presence at NAMER industry conferences, owning all project management, end-to-end planning and execution.
– Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Field Sales, and Solution Architects teams to stay abreast of account activities that will inform marketing plans.
– Work on multiple, programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.
– Travel required.

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience communicating results to stakeholders
– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
– Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services
– Experience in marketing or marketing research
– Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
– Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
– Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
– MBA
– Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
– Experience in enterprise software
– Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and staying on budget.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
