Job Description
The Recreation Department is Youth Sports Officials- Part-Time for youth flag football and/or basketball. The Youth Sports Officials for officiating scheduled games. Knowledge of the rules of the game is required. Must have a high level of independent judgment. Must attend an interview and training session. Officials are under the direction of the assigned Coordinator and the Program Supervisor. All employees are responsible to the Recreation Manager.
Schedule:
- Flag Football September – early November.
- Basketball November – April.
Position Details
- Prior experience in officiating youth sports is desirable.
- Preferred eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent required.
- Must follow City policies and regulations.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
- Hourly rate is $22.00/hour, and you will work up to approximately three (3) to seven (7) hours per week from November to April.
- Hiring is subject to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
