High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferences:
- Experience using the Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS) or Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)
- Experience dealing with Writ of Garnishments or IRS Levy’s or other types of wage garnishments
- FLAIR experience
- Payroll related experience in an office setting
The minimum annual salary for this position is $40,350.96.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
- Ability to prepare financial statements and reports.
- Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of accounting records.
- Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to an accounting program.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Analyze, Audit and Process involuntary deduction orders.
- Review orders processed for accuracy.
- Process payments to recipients and employee refunds.
- Reconciliation of payroll for involuntary deductions.
- Work independently as well as part of a team to coordinate work assignments and accomplish tasks.
