Wachter is accepting applications for a Fire and Burglar Alarm Engineer in our Nationwide Service & Projects department located in our Lowell, AR office.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for fire and burg alarms
- Provide some access control and paging/voice-com support as well
- Field installation and service experience are a necessity
- Proficient computer skills are essential
- Software skills in Microsoft Office, CAD, TeamViewer, RPS, Compass, and others a plus
- Good reading and comprehension skills are essential for install manual and blue-print support
- Great communication skills are essential as the position requires dealing with lots of different personalities and skill levels
- Must be able to apply problem solving skills to a broad array of components and systems
- Salaried position, in-office, mostly 8-5 M-F but some afterhours support calls can be expected
- Other responsibilities might include control panel programming, alarm system design and documentation, inspection documentation review, and support training for new techs
- Potential opportunity to help build a top-quality support team
- Licenses and certifications a plus (Arkansas Alarm License, NICET, Bosch, Edwards, Kidde, S2, AXIS, etc.)
