As a Senior Finance Analyst Wine & Grape Supply and as a member of the Wine and Grape Supply (WGS) team, works with WGS Management and commercial/functional partners to understand our current wine position and provide fact-based recommendations. You will focus on short and long-term Financial planning for our Central Valley grape supply.
What You Will Do:
- Manages reporting and conducts analyses of supply and demand across assigned functional area.
- Manages annual financial planning processes and financial reporting requirements for assigned functional area.
- Leads / facilitates regular cross functional meetings in support of monthly financial, supply and annual harvest S&OP processes.
- Leads the creation of tools that turn data from systems into information that drives management decisions.
- Identifies, advises and implements process improvements in support of business initiatives.
- Maintains strong understanding of short and long-term demands of Winery.
- Contributes to the development of the Company’s wine and grape supply strategy.
- Collaborates with cross-functional team members to obtain input, formulate strategies, gain alignment and execute project initiatives.
- Prepares detailed work plans and schedules, completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management and recommends actions or changes for assigned projects.
- Participates in the development of department procedures and performance measures.
- Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested.
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or IT experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Gallo business analytics and financial modeling work experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with MS Excel at an advanced level.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
- MBA plus 4 years of Finance, Accounting, Military, Operations, Business or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or IT discipline plus 6 years of Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or IT experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access & Tableau.
- Experience with Wine Manager and Gallo Wine Management systems.
- Experience with SAP, SAP IBP and AO.
- Experience writing and reading SQL queries, Python or other programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microstrategy.
- Experience with data structure and design.
- Experience working on special projects.
- Experience effectively presenting information to top management.
- Experience in leading large multi-departmental meetings.
- Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Experience using mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
- Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Deals with ambiguity.
- Broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $87,000 – $130,600
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
