We’re looking for Principal Architect; End User Technologies (Remote)to join our team.
What We Need & What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Possess a clear understanding of technology and how that technology is used in most Compucom IT business processes. Have a clear understanding of most technical areas and deeper knowledge in one or more areas of specialization. Fast learner and capable of teaching others. Works on multiple projects at the same time across the business or multiple tasks on a large project and is typically assigned the more difficult tasks. Interacts regularly with business functions on project work. May serve as liaison with a designated business function for the purpose of two-way communication between business and IT.
- Provide a 24×7 service environment within area of specialization to global client base.
- Escalation point for L2 and vendor support for break fix issues in area of specialization including troubleshooting infrastructure issues if applicable, planning & executing operational improvement project work.
- Maintains, analyzes, and participates in modifications to existing systems within area of specialization.
- Plans and participates in implementation of new systems and programs within area of specialization.
- Manage small or medium sized projects with up to 5 additional team members. Still expected to perform some of the project work on projects. Responsible for project cost, schedule, and quality delivery.
- Performs testing to analyze results and perform error detection, and validation.
- Provide appropriate technical documentation, project tracking, and management reporting.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
Technical Knowledge/Skills
- Microsoft Active Directory & Cloud Technologies
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft User focused technologies
- Messaging & Collaboration experience; Microsoft Exchange MS Teams
- Microsoft operation system configuration & management.
- Operating System patching and maintenance; SCCM, etc.
- Management of the Microsoft Office Suite & licensing
- M365 policy tenant management
- Mobile Remote meeting technologies experience
A successful [Architect] will have:
- A degree in Information Systems or comparable work experience
- 10+ years of corporate business experience
- Strong business acumen and business partnering skills, understanding of core corporate IT operations.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning/organizing capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and process-based environment.
- Always driving for continuous improvement

Salary range is $95,000.00 to $120,000.00
