Senior Software Engineer, Augmented Reality / Applied ML

Augmented Reality:
This team within Store N°8 is paving the way for augmented reality applications in the retail space creating productive and entertaining immersive real-world shopping experiences.
The Applied Research lab is developing the next generation interfaces for augmenting shopping experiences of the future. The Senior Software Engineer role is a key player in the team to develop state of the art proof of concepts, prototypes, and production ready software systems in the intersection of Augmented Reality, Human Computer Interaction, and Applied Machine Learning.

What you’ll do:
- Build and productionize multi-modal software systems that interface with various hardwares and sensing systems, cloud services, and front end platforms
- Productionize Machine Learning models of cloud services and open source projects, including but not limited to the areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Translation (MT), Speech Recognition (ASR), Image Recognition, Computer Vision (CV), and Information Retrieval (IR)
- Boldly innovate without losing sight of our mission
- Collaborate directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other Engineering teams
- Help build a great engineering culture that consistently delivers value to our users and business
What you should have:
- BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Robotics, Mathematics, or related experience
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Java
- Experience with AR/VR development and concepts
- Strong computer systems experience
- Experience with cloud computing and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with databases
- Strong knowledge of 3D transformations, geometry, linear algebra, calculus, and statistics
- Experience with web service frameworks and UI components frameworks is a plus
- Experience with iOS systems and Swift is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $136,000.00-$200,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
