Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Description – SDET/Automation Tester
Location : Pittsburg, PA (Open for remote)
“This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States”
- Good communication skills and client handling capabilities.
- Automation tester with good Kafka knowledge is mandatory.
- Should have at least 5 years of experience with Selenium, Webdriver IO, API Automation.
- Karate framework knowledge would be a value-add.
- Associate is expected to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases/scripts, execution of test scripts, creation of test data, & defect logging process.
- Should be in a position to triage the defects and drive the status calls as needed, generate the daily metrics reporting, automation of manual scripts.
- Associate should have knowledge on Agile process.
- Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in working in onshore/offshore model
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with a commitment to delivering on aggressive deadlines and contribute in developing test strategy.
Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $79,480 – 99,960 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
