About this Role
Glorious is a lifestyle gaming hardware company, built by passionate enthusiasts on a mission to change the status quo of the PC gaming industry. Since 2014 we’ve provided PC gaming hardware and accessories engineered for elite-level performance, premium quality, and high-end aesthetics.
Due to continued product development, we are currently looking for an organized and technically savvy Associate Project Manager to own the work streams for Software and Firmware projects. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with and understanding of software and firmware development concepts, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position reports to the Director of Project Management. The person in this role will work most closely with and receive training from our Project Manager, Software. They will also work with the software and firmware technical product owners, as well as other internal stakeholders such as logistics and design teams.
Compensation
The starting annual salary for this role is $60,000-$70,000 USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage multiple detailed project schedules and work plans simultaneously
- Use project management software on a daily basis to provide regular updates to other team members and stakeholders
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives in the product development timeline, and manage/optimize these resources efficiently
- Work closely with software and firmware technical product owners to coordinate tasks necessary to reach key project milestones
- Analyze, review, and respond to risks that may arise with product development
- Measure and report on each project’s performance and financial budget
Requirements
- Located and authorized to work in either the United States or Canada
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection
- Professional fluency in English
- 2+ years of experience managing full-cycle projects in a business setting, including forecasting due dates/timelines, managing internal resources effectively, and using project management software such as Asana to communicate project statuses/updates
- Exceptional understanding of software and firmware development; Agile development experience is strongly preferred
- Completion of engineering coursework, bootcamps, or any other relevant work experience is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially pertaining to technical concepts and hardware
- Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required
