Job Description

The Omni Richmond Hotel is hiring for a reliable and highly-organized individual to join it’s Engineering team as an Administrative Assistant. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department’s administrative processes. Under the guidance of the Chef Engineer, this individual will ensure all paperwork and projects are processed and completed on a timely basis in the order of established priorities.

Full-Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

General job duties include, but not limited to…

  • Fulfilling general office duties
  • Maintaining various property operational logs
  • Assisting in maintaining inventories, ordering and receiving supplies
  • Coordinating activities of Engineering staff through work assignments in cooperation with other Engineering management staff.
  • Being familiar with Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Assisting in maintaining all Engineering documentation and records.
  • Ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with internal staff.

  • Previous administrative/ office assistance experience required
  • Previous hotel experience and customer service experience preferred
  • Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or similar trades/businesses is beneficial, but not required
