Manager IT, Salesforce Development

As the Manager Salesforce Development at Panoramic Health, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Salesforce implementation. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the development team, ensuring the architecture, code quality, scalability, and reliability of our Salesforce solutions. By leveraging your strong architectural skills and experience with CI/CD processes, you will empower the team to build and maintain high-quality applications while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Salesforce development team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture, while providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  1. Salesforce Architecture: Design and maintain the Salesforce architecture, ensuring the platform’s scalability, extensibility, and alignment with business needs.
  1. Development Standards: Define and enforce development standards and best practices to maintain high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code across all Salesforce solutions.
  1. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, identify potential issues, and suggest improvements to guarantee the delivery of reliable and robust applications.
  1. CI/CD Processes: Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for efficient and automated delivery of Salesforce applications.
  1. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product owners, and QA teams, to understand requirements and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business objectives.
  1. Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  1. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for any Salesforce-related technical issues, including performance optimization and debugging.

Functional and Technical Competencies

(Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the role)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture, custom development, and integration capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and experience implementing automation tools for Salesforce development.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and maintain development standards to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of code.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are a plus

Experience

  • Proven experience (3 years) as a Salesforce Development Manager or a similar leadership role.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

ACTION ITEM: This role has a salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 and regular, full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid time off (PTO). Annual Bonus eligible.
