We are currently looking for a HVAC Maintenance Technician! This individual will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and chill water systems within our industrial manufacturing facility.
LOCATION: Temple, TX
PAY: $24+/hr DOE
HOURS: M-F, 7a – 3:30pm. 1 weekend day per month will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, chill water systems, steam & hot water supply systems, heat exchangers, air handling systems, temperature & humidity equipment, compressors, etc.
- Diagnoses electrical and mechanical problems and breakdowns, replaces parts (capacitors, etc.), and performs other necessary repairs.
- Works with complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Works collaboratively with electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians on heat exchanger issues.
- Orders and maintains inventory of tools and supplies.
REQUIREMENTS
- HS diploma or GED
- 3 years of HVAC experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment, is strongly preferred.
- Must have experience with chill water systems
- Must be comfortable working with wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Must have working knowledge of NEC safety standards.
- Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50+ pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8-10 hour shift.
