Job Description
Utilizing project management tools and methodologies, leads projects from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. The technical complexity, budget, number of internal and external parties involved, and risk to the company (i.e., financial, public reputation) increase as you move across the progression. Projects range from small scale (capital or non-capital) projects to large scale projects. In this role, projects have a distinct beginning and end. There are typically no direct reports; rather people and other resources are indirectly managed as part of a project team. Jobs in this family are progressive and employees may be promoted to the next level upon meeting the requirements of that level depending on the basis of business need

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university in a field of study that is relevant to the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • 1+ years of related or relevant experience including 1 year of technical project management experience.
  • Associate level project management certification, such as Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM), or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and core applications.
  • Ability to manage a team and personal dynamics to effectively drive projects forward, lead project meetings, develop creative and innovative solutions and build relationships with internal/ external stakeholders.
  • Requires valid driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced degree in related or relevant discipline
  • Professional level project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or ability to obtain within one year.
  • 3+ years of related or relevant experience including 1 year of technical project management experience OR 5+ years of related or relevant experience including 3 years or other technical project management experience OR 7+ years of related or relevant experience including 6 year of technical project management experience.
  • Work effectively with senior staff members and management.
  • Manage unique resource group for the delivery of projects.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of and competency in project management and technical requirements from relevant functional area.
  • Lead the most complex and technical projects in the functional area
  • Effectively collaborate with external regulatory, governmental, business, or customer groups.
  • Work with senior management, building agreement and influencing.

Associate Project Manager: Hiring Range: $69,991 – $90,639 Market Level Range: $69,991 – $100,962

Project Manager I: Hiring Range: $79,680 – $103,585 Market Level Range: $79,680 – $115,537

Project Manager II: Hiring Range: $90,542 – $118,610 Market Level Range: $90,542 – $132,645

Project Manager III: Hiring Range: $103,016 – $135,466 Market Level Range: $103,016 – $151,691
