As a project manager on the Partner Experience Innovation Center team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing several processes and systems to keep priorities on track, as well as applying project management knowledge, skills, and tools to deliver a radically improved US retail partner experience. We are looking for highly organized and energetic individuals who are passionate about driving results and cross-functional collaboration.
As a project manager, you will…
- Proactively manage timelines and bring process to complex, highly cross-functional innovation projects
- Apply knowledge, processes, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities that help meet program goals
- Support in implementing ongoing process enhancements as it pertains to rhythm of business and ways of working
- Establish clear expectations, tactics, and timelines for assigned projects.
- Ensure programs are designed with effective sustainment strategies and can be integrated with existing tools and processes.
- Analyze and evaluates project interdependencies and their impacts. Works cross-functionally to fully understand interdependencies and ensure solutions support related tracks of work.
- Support in managing a portfolio of programs and projects, including the management and maintenance of an integrated digital partner experience roadmap
- Develop, implement, and maintain critical stakeholder communications, from meeting recaps and newsletters
- Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to thrive in ambiguity as part of a highly innovation-centric team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 2+ years project management experience, which can include applied project management skills utilized in other environments
- 3 yrs managing large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects
- 2+ yrs building and mentoring teams
- Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships.
- Ability to operate and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to assess the impact of change and develop processes to ensure effective implementation and user acceptance of new processes, products, procedures, or methods.
