Position Overview

In this role, you’ll perform various tasks to assist with the production of aggregates. From data entry and report management to coordinating all aspects of aggregate production. You’ll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

Wage: $35+ DOE
Schedule: 3 days on, 4 days off. Rotating monthly schedule. Occasional weekends as needed for business demands.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Verify specified aggregates and enter correct mix design into computer. Monitor gauges, dials, and operation of machinery to ensure conformance to processing specifications.
- Communicate and receive directions from dispatch, drivers, operators and customers via radio or phone.
- Planning and coordination of daily/job orders, order scheduling, raw material inventory, and ordering, plant maintenance, etc.
- Maintain accurate time and materials records with high attention to detail
- Occasionally operate equipment in a safe manner to support daily plant activities.
- Maintenance activities include but not limited to welding, torching, machine lubrication, plant-specific component maintenance, etc.
- Participate in creating a safe work environment, achieve safety goals, implement company safety programs, and comply with OSHA/MSHA/Company standards.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with all customers and employees.
- Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous aggregate and/or related industry experience required.
- Must be proficient using a computer to manage and coordinate operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and tactical manner.
- Strong communication and customer service.
- The ability to create and keep deadlines, make informed decisions, and strategically plan with attention to details.
- Prior plant maintenance experience and ability to troubleshoot.
- Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance and punctuality.
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
- Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
- Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Our team will provide you with the necessary PPE, however please bring your own pair of steel-toed or composite boots to work in.
