Description
We are looking for a seasoned Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. As a Level 3 Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytical models, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business value from data insights.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Lead data science projects from ideation to deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operation teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders and influence business strategies.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of data science.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed to do the Job:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or related roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other data science languages.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
- Experience with tools for manipulating large datasets
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Databricks, Azure, AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control tools is a plus

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 110,000- $120,000 annually.
