We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Program Management to lead our established US programs team. This central team specializes in providing support across three area 1) support ensuring timely resolution for our customers queries, 2) services providing key commercial functions for our customers including Pricing, Claims, Payments and Billing, and 3) driving key new programs such as dangerous goods. The Senior Manager, Program Management position will act as the bridge between the Customer and our Commercial, Product, Tech and Operations teams. You will deliver the programmatic strategy and facilitate long-term product solutions on our most important features and services. The Senior Manager, Program Management will be a driven, results oriented and an entrepreneurial leader with strong people management skills, ownership, bias for action and of course, customer obsession. The diverse, multi-faceted role will also form part of the core leadership team responsible for helping to influence our SWA global strategy and long-term growth ambitions.
Key job responsibilities
– Build and implement a long-term vision for US Programs
– Deliver global director level goals across multiple geos
– Strive for global parity across multiple diverse geographies
– Coordinate a larger group of cross-functional teams/dependencies
– Establish/lead regular mechanisms to track performance and communicate internally/externally
– Understand key differences in local geos/market nuances through gathering insights
– Shape and influence product design and user experience by being closely involved in UAT and testing
– Build training and SOPs to enable global commercial and support teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience managing teams
– Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
– Experience delivering cross functional projects
– Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
– Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
