What you will do (day in the life):

In this role, you will work with engineers to define and implement processes and first-time quality of transactions between teams for a large engineering organization.

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking motivated and talented a Mid-Level Systems Engineering Support Analyst (Risk Management) to join the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Engineering, Test, and Readiness (SITR) Program.

Work Location: Huntsville, AL

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

We are seeking candidates with high-learning agility, problem solving abilities, creativity, and analytical thinking.

You will be responsible for supporting the Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) process for the program that includes executing the defined RIO process, facilitating RIO boards, managing the RIOs in the defined RIO database, Risk Metrics, and communicating risk to program leadership and the customer all while working in an Agile environment.

  • Work with engineering team to assist in documenting and tracking of RIOs
  • Support SITR RIO team and customer with RIO process
  • Facilitate RIO Boards to include Agenda, Minutes and action item tracking
  • Report metrics on RIO status
  • Assist in providing RIO training to the program
  • Offer suggestions to RIO process and tool improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience working with a defined RIO process
  • Experience facilitating meetings
  • Experience working with partners (internal and external), suppliers, and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required) and requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Desired Experience:

  • Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or GMD program experience
  • Experience working in a Digital and Agile environment
  • GitLab
  • Windchill
  • Qlik Dashboard experience
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

Required Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Summary Pay Range:

$78,000 – $135,000
