A role you will love

As the Senior Kofax Developer, you will work within an Agile environment to develop and support Kofax platforms across the Computershare portfolio as well as lead complex technology initiatives including those that are with companywide impact. You will make decisions in developing best practices for engineering and technology solutions and work within cross-functional teams. You’ll effectively participate in a development team to deliver using a Scrum or Kanban model and directly contribute to achieving the Corporate Trust business objectives.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the departments’ Kofax ecosystem supporting multiple product groups within CCT and ensure resiliency and production performance of the platform
  • Installation and configuration of Kofax components including:
    • Kofax Capture Network Server (KCNS) and remote site profiles for appropriate batch routing, assigned batch classes, and station licenses
    • Kofax Batch Classes established for CCT Portfolio
    • Kofax PCs and Scanner Stations
    • Remote Synchronization Agent (RSA) and Recognition Server modules
    • Scan, Recognition Server, and Validation modules (leveraging Kofax custom panels)
    • Kofax Total Agility (KTA)
    • Migration from KTM to KTA
    • Support & ongoing development in all Kofax products
    • FileNet integration work
  • Custom code development needed to address business needs with the Kofax platform and integration between upstream document management platforms (FileNet and NAS)
  • Apply knowledge of standards, policies, best practice and organizational structure so that you can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders
  • Ensure the quality of tasks, services and information provided by your team to ensure that your team delivers high-quality, maintainable software which adheres to internal standards and policies
  • Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the team’s delivery and/or supported products
  • Identify and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business

What will you bring to the role?

You enjoy finding root causes and take a rigorous approach to problem solving. As you’ll be dealing with conflicting priorities, you are self-motivated and use your own initiative to work with limited guidance to implement innovative solutions. You can communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas, provide updates, influence, challenge and take on feedback.

You also bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience planning, designing, implementing, configuring, upgrading, migrating, troubleshooting, and supporting high availability of Kofax Capture environments in high volume business environments
  • 4+ years’ experience with engineering and implementing Custom Applications development using Kofax custom panels
  • Formal Kofax Certification in total agility, capture, process intelligence, and transformation
  • Hands on and clear concepts for FileNet integration with Kofax
  • Experience with Relational Databases like Oracle/SQL Server
  • Experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

Bonus points if you have:

  • Strong experience in customizing Kofax modules and developing custom widgets with DOJO, HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science
  • Experience in any of the following:
    • Documentum and/or FileNet P8 administration
    • Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
    • Windows Administration and Shell scripting
    • DevOps setup
    • Test Automation Frameworks like Selenium

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $105,000 – $135,000 USD. This base pay range is specific to Denver, CO and may not be applicable to other locations. This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
