POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team and firm’s overall marketing efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update marketing information databases.
- Support quarterly and annual marketing reporting.
- Schedule, prepare for and follow-up on marketing team meetings, as well as external marketing meetings.
- Assist awards efforts, including tracking, gathering materials and submissions.
- Coordinate in-house and external events, lectures, and juries for team members.
- Assist with special projects such as books, installations, exhibitions.
- Support the marketing team in a variety of tasks, such as production coordination, event planning, photoshoot support needs, business development initiatives, travel logistics, scanning, filing, inventory, etc.
- Support data tracking and reporting for new project leads, current pursuits, and industry-related news.
- Support market and other research as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 1+ years of experience working in a professional work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal skills required (grammar, technical writing, and information gathering).
- Organized, flexible, and responsible self-starter who enjoys a dynamic, team atmosphere and is able to work with and take direction from multiple levels of professional staff with differing professional styles.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize complex content.
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere without a loss in quality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or other business-related specialty preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Smartsheets a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of architecture, engineering, or construction field helpful, but not required.
Benefits
At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position in Seattle is between $60,000 and $70,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors
