🛠 Job Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will:
Collaborate closely with the Facilities Operations team to support general maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance, trouble calls, and emergency repairs.
Gain hands-on experience in conduit installation, wire pulling, and device connection using lifts and ladders.
Learn to independently assist in equipment repairs and related duties, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Develop skills in interpreting complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and building plans to contribute to issue resolution.
Embrace positive attitudes, ethical work practices, and actively contribute to our company’s mission and philosophy.
Provide exceptional customer service and practice professionalism in challenging situations.
Prioritize timely task completion and provide constructive feedback to contribute to process improvement.
💼 Requirements:
To excel in this role, you’ll ideally have:
Enthusiasm to embark on a career as an Electrician, with an ongoing apprenticeship program.
An eagerness to learn and work closely with experienced Electricians in diverse tasks.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, electrical meters, and testing equipment (preferred).
A willingness to understand sizing conductors, conduits, and relevant codes (preferred).
An interest in low to high voltage systems and a desire to learn more (preferred).
The ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics, or a keen interest in developing this skill (preferred).
A commitment to following safety procedures and recognizing electrical hazards (preferred).
Comfort working at elevations, up to 80 ft. high (preferred).
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
