Requirements
EXPERIENCE
- Architecture
- You see the bigger picture of the ecosystem you’re building, experienced in Data Catalogs, Data Quality, Monitoring/Observability tools, etc. You know it’s not only about ETL code.
- You’ve participated in shaping an architecture of a data analytics platform before. You’ve made your mistakes and learned from them. You have a fit-for-purpose mindset, and you know that keeping it simple is the true mark of experience and excellence.
- You have experience in different data design patterns, you know the 5 Vs. of data matter much to what you’re solutioning for. Know how to design for the different consumer types of your platform.
- Engineering Hands-On
- You have hands-on experience in writing ETLs through code or tooling, you know SQL like the back of your hand.
- You can advocate passionately for your tried-and-true best practices of CI/CD in data engineering.
- You’ve wrangled Big Data, Real-time Data, and Complex data problems into solutions in your past
- You have experience in Data Modeling
- You have a large toolbox you’ve been assembling for years, from Python to SME on different SaaS in the market. And you know when to use the right tool for the job and not the other way around.
- Stakeholder management
- You have repeatedly provided Service rooted in care for your customers in analytics with high marks of satisfaction.
- You spent your time and energy creating strong relationships with other teams. Whether in analytics or in software engineering, you can speak the language that will create bonds. And have a track record to show it.
- Measurement & effiecieness
- You have countless examples of your data-driven approach to measuring your team’s solutions’ performance. From observability coverage to data integrity, you obsess about continuous tracking and insights generation.
- You always drove towards efficiencies, lowering your cloud spend and making a process run 10% faster are always on your quarterly plan, and you have the distilled insights from those.

The pay for this position is anticipated to have a salary range of $110,000 and $210,000, in addition to benefits. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
