Primary Function
Under general direction, plans, directs, and coordinates the activities and operations of the energy construction and maintenance section including transmission and distribution overhead and underground facilities ensuring reliability standards and customers needs are met; provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the energy department on matters relating to assigned area of responsibility. Peforms other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field and two years of engineering experience including distribution and transmission electrical line construction and maintenance;
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education with progressively responsible experience in the construction, operations, maintenance or engineering of distribution and transmission electrical line construction and maintenance, substations and related equipment including five years of supervisory work experience required.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
A valid driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from the official DMV website must accompany the job application (no third-party records accepted).
