Your role in our mission

  • Answer inbound phone calls from providers and recipients for Alabama Medicaid
  • Serves as support for web portal navigation and login/password assistance
  • Provide necessary support to callers request (update account information, research and provide claim resolution, verify eligibility/coverage, etc.)
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied callers, offering assistance and support
  • Completes complex tasks, assignments, and defined processes with some level of independence
  • Navigate systems to locate information for callers (internal database, Medicaid website, knowledge management tools)

What we’re looking for

  • 2 or more years of customer service experience
  • Experience working with various internal departments and personnel
  • Experience working with computer software and telephone technology

What you should expect in this role

  • Onsite – Montgomery, AL
  • Must reside in Alabama
  • Schedule(M-F 8 AM – 5PM) with rotating 12:00PM-8:00PM shift, rotating Saturday 9:00AM-5:00PM and rotating holidays 9:00AM-5:00PM (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)

The pay range for this position is $27,200.00 – $38,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
