Epicor Production Scheduler Summary:
The Epicor Production Schedulers is responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously updating and improving the Epicor data, production schedules, and operations reporting. This person will serve as a point of contact between the sales, operations, Engineering, and Epicor Success Team.
Epicor Production Scheduler Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Convert orders into jobs while maintaining established production schedules.
- Engineer and release jobs per the master production schedule
- Updating build of materials with changing work orders and material constraints through the production cycle
- Prepare capacity analysis by work center.
- Plan and implement work for assigned production cells ensuring parts, materials, and manpower are available for to perform.
- Work with manufacturing management team to ensure success of builds and production demands met.
- Maintain system maintenance and improvements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert during the implementation of Epicor scheduling with manufacturing management and employees.
Epicor Production Scheduler Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in engineering workbench with custom large bill of materials
- 3+ years of experience working with Epicor in a manufacturing environment, Epicor Superuser a plus.
- Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Epicor system, Zoom.
- Must understand all facets of scheduling, including set up and implementation.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and users.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Team player attitude with a willingness to work in a dynamic, growing, demanding, and fast paced environment.
- Understanding of Lean/5S and commitment to continuous improvement
Epicor Production Scheduler Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office based sedentary position.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Travel will be required at 15%
Work Environment:
Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
