LIBRARY MEDIA TECH II – 7 HOURS/DAY AT SANDPOINT MIDDLE SCHOOL
Sandpoint Middle School seeks a vibrant individual to help us shift from a traditional school library model into a 21st century Information and Media Center. The successful candidate will be a part of brainstorming and enacting this change over this year, and then maintaining and improving it over the coming years. During that transition, more traditional librarian functions will be primary, but this position requires somebody who can collaborate to envision and then enact a new model that will support and educate the modern middle school student.
This position is scheduled to work 7.0 hours/day, 186 calendar days during the school year. The pay rate is $16.78 – $21.26/hour, based on applicable experience.

Minimum Qualifications
– 32+ semester credits of higher education, preferably in Library Science or Education
– 1 year work experience working with school-age children
– Ability to work collaboratively with individuals of all ages
