Amazon’s last mile legal team is seeking talented compliance specialist to support our rapidly growing and evolving Amazon Flex business. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space. We are doing this by building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. This role will support our Amazon Flex business teams as they work to better serve our customers.
This compliance specialist will:
• Be an integral part of the business teams you support.
• Perform legal research into a variety of complex federal, state and local regulations.
• Create, develop and improve digestible rules and guidelines for business teams to reference and use in every day work to maintain compliance.
• Review marketing copy and customer communications and advise on marketing strategies.
• Develop internal processes to improve our ability to scale the legal support we provide.
• Develop and provide training to the business team.
• Work with the business team and legal counsel to analyze data and identify areas of improvement within the compliance lifecycle.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant, compliance professional, project manager, or similar office experience.
– Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
• Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
