Capital Projects Administrative Assistant – Zeeland, Michigan

DISHER is partnering with a global company that offers products and services for hygiene, health and nutrition. Our partner, located in Zeeland, MI, is in need of a contract Administrative Assistant (first shift) to work with a Capital Projects Manager in a food production plant. This opportunity is expected to be on-site (maybe hybrid) and to run for about 6-12 months. You will ensure project success working alongside the Capital Project Manager.

What you will get to do:

    • Compile and audit documents for approval routing
    • Enter required project initiation information in Project Tracking Database
    • Route projects for approval – track documents and maintain metrics for routing times
    • Organize and complete Idle Asset Review
    • Maintain site Asset list
    • Complete Notice of Commencement applications as requested
    • Communicate with project managers and finance department to identify projects requiring financial closeout
    • Organize department and project meetings as requested
    • Take department and project meeting minutes as requested

What will make you successful:

    • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3+ year’s experience with administrative duties in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience working with Capital projects and expenditures preferred
    • Experience with SAP
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Business Essentials communication tools
    • Ability to learn and navigate through numerous databases
    • Skilled in effective written and verbal communication
    • Ability to be organized and detailed
    • Demonstrate experience in collaborating with others
    • Able to independently follow established administrative standards and procedures
    • Skilled in coordinating schedules and setting up meetings and appointments
    • Current and continuing right to work in the U.S. required

$25 – $30 an hour
