Summary
This leadership position supervises the daily activities of the Provider Enrollment Unit. The unit consists of Provider Enrollment Analysts supporting the Maine Title XIX Account. The supervisor guides the analyst on enrollment requirements and problem resolution of concerns of providers according to established policies. Develops tools and procedures for improved Provider Enrollment CSRs, projects, bulletins, etc. Maintains the customer relationship with internal/external customers, governmental agencies, and MaineCare vendors. The supervisor will work closely with the customer to ensure that the unit’s contractual obligations are met and to resolve provider inquiries.
Your role in our mission
- Ability to train and mentor staff on the daily operations of the Provider Enrollment Unit.
- Ability to write Provider Enrollment CRs, bulletins, manuals, and banner pages as needed.
- Participates in meetings with internal/external customers and governmental agencies and MaineCare vendors.
- Participates in the development and implementation of the Provider Enrollment Training Plan
- Ability to present formal presentations in front of large and small audiences; meets every week with the State to discuss unit performance and CR/TR meetings.
- Ability to establish or interpret objectives and plans for the organization’s operation; BA relationships are to be maintained by this role.

What you should expect in this role
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of recent and relevant Medicaid, Medicare, or large health insurance Provider enrollment processing work experience.
- Prior experience and knowledge of Federal and State provider enrollment policies.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of transaction/inventory management to meet client requirements and processing times.

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 – $74,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
