Description
- Conceptualize and create weekly ad-hoc reports for sales forecasts, shipments, allocation, sales opportunity tracking, supply plans, etc. using SQL, Python and Excel.
- Create real-time dashboards in Power BI to actively track weekly processes in order to help core teams and executive managementto visualize existing data and drive a more data-centric approach to our Go-To-Market strategy.
- Analyze quarterly sales and work with sales teams to provide accurate analytic reports.
- Implement and help to standardize business reporting practices for strategic analysis and internal business review.
- Implement and maintain metrics of customer forecast and fulfillment including historical data analysis, waterfall analysis, trending analysis, etc.
- Work closely with operations and sales teams to drive process improvement for existing CRMs including workflow, reporting, data integrity, and maintenance.
Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Sciences & Technologies, or related fields and 6 month experience in data science and analysis.
The experience shall include:
- Using statistical analysis software, such as SAS and R
- Data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation processes.
- Data manipulation and data mining techniques.
- Data visualization and business intelligence software, Tableau and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition).
- Exploratory & Ad-Hoc Data Analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Statistical concepts of probability, variability, hypothesis testing, and correlation.
- Statistical/predictive analytics models like Regression, Decision Trees, Classification & Regression Trees.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $130,416 – $132,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
