Description
JOB STATEMENT: The role is responsible for the communication and execution of our entire portfolio to key National/Super Regional off-premise chain accounts. The Manager will ensure we are achieving our fair share of business, growth and awareness in this important channel of business.
Essential Duties:
- Implement sales performance measures and targets using the Bronco Wine Company (BWC) brand priorities with key accounts
- Manage SKU priorities by varietal and price segments and review execution against these standards within each key national account
- New brand introductions as well as SKU rationalization on an annual basis is critical
- Work with National and General Sales Manager to develop action plans for business opportunities through the use of strategic insights
- Work with General Sales Manager and other Zone/Regional Managers (ZONE/RM’s) on deciding and executing on “Go to Market” monthly action plan
- Understand BWC new item priorities and execute them against each individual chain
- Program execution through all key phases: planning-communication-execution-evaluation
- Optimize shelf and cold box placement
- Prioritize relevant chain support based on national marketing calendar as well as any localized opportunities
- Execution and communication of sales objectives
- Plan out market activities at a minimum of 30 days out with a goal of planning 60-90 days in advance
- In market training and relationship development
- Call directly on key off-premise accounts to achieve monthly ad support, TPR support and relative coupon needs to pull programs
- Develop a professional business relationship with targeted National/Super Regional Chains
- Work with distributor chain managers and KAM’s as needed
- Recap of successes, opportunities and market intelligence should be sent in at the end of each week to the National Sales Director, Director of Sales and appropriate distributor
- Introduce and execute new product launches as directed to key accounts
- Participate in trade events, distributor holiday shows, crew drives, blitzes and wine dinners in key accounts
- Attend chain meetings at distributor to train and distributor sales people
- Ensure all distributor chain managers have a clear understanding of BWC brand standards, shelf and adjacency standards as well as monthly display priorities
- Communicate with ZONE/RM/STATE/DM’s to ensure chains are a key component of all distributor sales incentives
- Hold monthly business reviews with ZONE’s and major distributors to review key account performance against plan as well as assessing any immediate risks and opportunities
- Manage chain budgets within annual guidance
- Adequately plan POS and funds for approved chain programs
- Conduct post-promotional analysis in conjunction with National Sales Manager (as applicable)
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of related wine industry experience required and 2 years of people management
- Alcohol and Beverage experience with wine certification such as WSET II or CSW highly preferred.
Knowledge of:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and self-motivational skills
- High level of integrity, confidence
- Strong analytical thinking
Ability to:
- Interact with and effectively supervise different people
- Make sound decisions regarding sales and personnel
- Work independently and effectively in assigned area
Residency:
- Preferably Tampa but will consider residency in Orlando, miami or Atlanta
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
