The Marketing Specialist provides support to the Marketing and Creative Communications Department for project pursuits, business development and promotional activities. This is a part- or full-time opportunity (30-40 hours per week), stationed in our beautiful Denver Tech Center office. FHU has a flexible work environment and the potential for a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats, love promoting FHU’s people and projects, and want to be part of a positive, team-focused workplace culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce proposals, statement of qualifications, and interview presentations, working in collaboration with technical staff, graphic designers, and marketing staff to write and edit content.
- Establish and manage concurrent pursuit team schedules and meet deadlines.
- Create and maintain staff resumes, project sheets, advertisements, social media accounts, project photography, and other marketing materials (both print and electronic)
- Responsible for Client Relationship Management (CRM) database entry and reporting.
- Assist with special projects and content development, including but not limited to presentations, conference preparation, public meetings, special events, communication campaigns, and award entries
- Administrative support: filing, database updates, mailings
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or journalism preferred
- 3-10 years of proposal experience in A/E/C industry preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a technical project team environment
- Excellent organizational, project coordination and customer service skills
- Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
- Graphic Design/Layout Capabilities are a plus, but not required
- Required Software Skills: Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Desired Software Skills: Adobe Creative Suite- including Photoshop and Illustrator, web/video applications, social media platforms, Deltek Vantagepoint.
- Soft Skills: creativity, problem solving, schedule management
The pay for this position has a range of $29.00 – $35.00 per hour. The actual offer will carefully consider a range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
