Environmental Senior Project Engineer (DoD Experience)
CEG is actively seeking a licensed and experienced Environmental Senior Engineer with DoD experience for our client operating out of their Dallas, Texas office. Licensed PE is required for this role. This position requires a strong working knowledge of TRRP.

What We Are Looking For
A Senior Project Engineer will work on a wide range of projects, with a heavy focus on Department of Defense projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth.
What You Will Be Doing:
The successful candidate will work on projects ranging from site investigations to regulatory compliance tasks, feasibility studies, and remedial design and/or implementation.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.
- Oversight of Phase I/II projects and remediation engineers.
- Remedial systems design, O&M, chemical soil treatment, design treatment systems, and signing off on design work.
- Managing fieldwork, compiling data, preparing reports, and oversight of projects.
- Managing environmental site assessments and remediation projects.
- CERCLA Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies.
- Preparation of work plans and UFP-SAPs.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, especially TRRP regulations and reporting requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience with environmental DoD contracts
- Experience in emerging contaminants such as PFAS
Senior Project Manager Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Geology, or related environmental science
- 10 years’ experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering
- Texas PE (Professional Engineer) PG License
- DoD experience
- Ability to maintain a background clearance.
- Strong Working knowledge of TRRP regulations and reporting requirements.
- Environmental law and policy proficiency.
- HAZWOPER training and certification.
- Project Management experience is required
- Strong consulting and problem-solving skills are required
- Communication skills, written and verbal, are critical to success
