Environmental Project Manager – Dallas, TX

We are hiring an Environmental Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental consulting to support our client in their Dallas, TX office. Relocation assistance is offered for the right fit.

Our client is an industry leader in regulatory compliance, site assessment, and remediation services for private industry and all levels of government. They have adeptly and concurrently executed hundreds of cleanups at military installations, Superfund sites, and Airports, including other Commercial, Federal, and State sites.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing a project team to support a variety of environmental assessment and remediation projects.
  • Conducting Phase I/II site assessments for gas stations, dry cleaners, and other locations.
  • Providing overall project management and assisting in establishing project-specific objectives.
  • Preparing project proposals, work plans, and technical reports.
  • Interacting with clients and subcontractors.
  • Overseeing site investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air (VI), soil gas, groundwater, and stormwater sampling).
  • Developing technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities.
  • Mentoring junior staff.

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, or Geology.
  • Registered TX Engineer, (P.E.) or geologist (P.G.).
  • 8 years of experience
  • Strong working knowledge of TRRP.
  • HAZWOPER training and certification.
  • Experience in environmental laws and policies.
  • Staff management and supervisory experience and interest in mentoring and coaching.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Task and leadership management.
  • Ability to travel 10% regionally with overnights.
  • Ability to maintain a background clearance.
