Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. Administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, assisting with payroll, handling various HR related tasks and record keeping practices, general clerical duties, and management of office equipment and supplies.
It is critical that the Administrative Assistant can multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks, and willingly assist OVG staff where needed. Considering the sometimes seasonal and event-driven nature of our business, the successful incumbent will have the ability to focus on and prioritize the administrative duties that are most critical and time-sensitive. This position requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20 TO $25.00.

- Assist with hiring efforts and employee onboarding.
- Assist with workers’ comp claims, unemployment claims and OSHA logs as necessary.
- Occasionally provide additional support during events, or other special events for employees.
- Assist with updating manuals and policies.
- Assist with various HR projects.
- Relaying any accounting, HR, employee relations, safety, policy or procedural concerns, and any situation that may result in disciplinary action, to appropriate management in a timely and responsible manner.

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience as an Administrative Assistant
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly, open to change and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and ambiguous environment; handle multiple tasks with the ability to re-prioritize and shift priorities quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Highly organized with good coordinating/project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to analyze problems involving many variables
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
- High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity and ability to maintain sensitive information and appropriate decorum
