Boeing Intelligence & Analytic is seeking for a System Engineer 2 (Software Test Engineer) to review business/software requirements, prepare test cases, test scripts, test data and test reports, manually execute functional and regression tests, analyze test results, report defects and assist in their understanding, report testing metrics, and peer review test plans/results. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- 5+ years enterprise software testing experience working in a team environment.
- Testing experience using VMware virtual machines to include machine and account creation/ deletion and collaboration with System Administrators to resolve connectivity issues.
- Linux command line experience: 1 year minimum, 3+ years desired.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and deliver quality results in a dynamic fast paced environment
- Demonstrates written communications skills and MS Office proficiency to document test plans, status and results.
- Analytical skills to perform problem evaluation for failed test cases.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills to include experience collaborating with software developers and engineers to resolve issues identified during testing.
Desired Qualifications:
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python etc.) to improve productivity.
- Active DoD8570 IAT Level 2 security certification (e.g.: Security +).
- Apache NiFi experience. Ability to navigate, configure dataflows, and use dataflow information with the NiFi User Interface.
- Jira software user experience documenting and tracking issues.
- Supervisory or leadership experience Qualifications.
Required Education/Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management) from an accredited college or university, and fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity, or
- No degree (High School/GED) and nineteen (19) years of relevant experience

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$175,750 – $194,250
