Job Summary
To support Signature Symphony operations, marketing and outreach efforts to ensure dynamic programming. This position will support the team by maintaining timelines, communications with contract vendors and college partners, and with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude, to jump in where assistance is needed.
Essential Duties
Planning, organizing the details for, scheduling vendors as needed, partnership communications, and executing the various events for Signature Symphony including, but not limited to, concert receptions, 1st Chair society events, and symphony outreach community education events.
Schedule Artistic Director and Advisory Board/committee meetings. Provide support as needed.

Assist the Director of Development and Operations with patron and donor communications as directed.

Coordinate development of written communications including website and printed collateral (program inserts, PowerPoint slide shows, event invitations, flyers, etc.) developed with internal TCC marketing and outside vendors for events and outreach and to ensure timely, most up to date, accurate, and creative content on behalf of Signature Symphony.

Working with Signature Symphony employees including Artistic Director, Director of Development and Operations, Orchestra Manager, and Advisory Board to schedule meetings and events, record minutes, and organize agendas and meeting collateral and reports as needed.

Create and organize Social Media and E-Newsletter content to ensure correct information dissemination and diverse and educational content to keep communication outreach relevant, interesting, and informative with the ultimate goal of informing and growing the audience.

Ensure day to day functions of Signature Symphony and help to execute the vision of the Director of Development and Operations and Artistic Director.

Work collaboratively with and maintain relationships with various TCC departments and individuals including but not limited to TCC Foundation, TCC Marketing, Visual and Performing Arts, and PACE staff to ensure timely and accurate communications and outreach.

Monitor, organize, and improve project-tracking systems and timelines to ensure accurate, on budget projects that meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent education in Mass Communications, Music, Business or Education.
3 years experience working with multiple areas and departments to coordinate projects.

Experience proofreading and written communication skills.

Ability to work with donors and patrons while fully representing TCC.

Ability to move 25 pounds without assistance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree mass Communications, Music, business or education. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated background in music.
