The AWS Analyst Relations (AR) Measurement and Marketing Advisory (MMA) team ensures IT analysts’ earned proof points make it into customers’ hands when they need them. With the ultimate goal of supporting customer decision-making, the team develops mechanisms and programs to share relevant, helpful and accurate analyst research with internal teams on behalf of current and prospective customers.
The team seeks a curious, self-motivated Program Manager (PM) to raise the bar on how earned analyst assets are leveraged across the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) organization.
The right candidate has experience working across a highly-matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders. They have strong content marketing skills, are detail driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and are an exemplary communicator. The right candidate is a peer leader, and has the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in. They are gifted at simplifying complex challenges to make consistent, bar-raising progress.
Key job responsibilities
– Coordinating with cross-functional marketing, sales and communications teams to publish and amplify earned analyst assets
– Creating an internal customer-obsessed communications strategy and plan to promote AR assets to business stakeholders
– Delivering clear, consistent, and frequent communication to stakeholders to ensure ongoing clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for communications channels
– Building self-service mechanism(s) to scale publication of AR assets
– Tracking performance to identify and act on insights
– Working with global and field teams in the SMGS org to experiment, and develop programs that support their communication and campaign needs
– Meeting performance KPIs and operational goals to deliver near-term and long-term results
– Improving processes that all AR professionals to scale with high bars on quality and efficiency
– Partnering with AWS teams to ensure AR asset tracking is set up and executed consistent with global processes and practices
– Prioritizing and managing incoming requests for asset activation and content approvals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant education/experience
– 3+ years of experience in a high-tech B2B digital marketing role
– 1+ years’ experience with martech tools such as Marketo, Adobe AEM
– 1+ years’ experience creating and executing integrated lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live and/or virtual events, webinars, email, organic social and paid media
– 1+ years’ experience building and formatting web pages and email templates
– Basic HTML/CSS skills for email and web
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Previous experience in cloud computing via product programs
– Strong understanding of email, demand gen, and general digital best practices
– Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding customer needs and delivering an effective and engaging web experience
– Prior experience promoting third party content
– Demonstrated skill to use data and metrics to back up hypotheses and anecdote to develop business cases
– Desire to own and refine key operational processes
– Ability to adapt to a fast-changing and evolving role
– Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,700/year in our highest geographic market.
