Nature of Work: This position requires a highly motivated individual to lead, coach and contribute to overall ticket sales effort for the Colorado Avalanche and Mammoth as well as the other Kroenke Sports and Entertainment teams. This is a management level position which encompasses a collaborative departmental management of day-to-day productivity from account executives. As a full-time member of the Avalanche and Mammoth Ticket Sales Department, this individual is responsible for focusing on the sale of all ticket packages (group tickets, full season tickets and partial ticket packages) alongside account executives via telephone and face-to-face appointments.

Examples of work performed:

  • Teach, model, and reinforce a sales process to your staff on a consistent basis with a fresh and in-depth strategy to generate ticket sales across the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and Colorado Mammoth
  • Recruit, hire, and train the Colorado Avalanche and Mammoth group sales team of account executives.
  • Assist in training and developing the inside sales teams for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and Colorado Mammoth
  • Providing service and attention to detail for clients year-round
  • Assisting with numerous in-season and off-season sales events
  • Maintaining customer database and assisting in facilitating communication of marketing efforts.
  • Providing and update reporting Director of Ticket Sales through Archtics ticketing system and Microsoft CRM
  • Demonstrates a winning structure and culture driven business plan to model coaching and managing a group of account executives.

  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
  • Requires mobility enough to travel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. BS/BA degree in field or related field
    2. High School or GED
    3. 2+ years’ experience in field
    4. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Preferred
    1. Master’s degree in sports management, or related field
    2. Minimum 1+ years professional experience within ticket sales management
    3. Minimum 3+ years professional experience within sports ticket sales
    4. Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Compensation:

  • Base salary range $70,000-$80,000 per annum
  • Eligible for annual bonus
