Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Various duties including classroom support, faculty and student support, Rinker Office Support.

Responsibilities

Office duties include answering telephones, relaying messages to staff, and computerized scheduling and inventory data input. Assisting with ID Card printing, Classroom assistance with AV equipment, some computer troubleshooting. Light office duties as required. Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Basic computer and AV knowledge.

Desired Qualifications

Apple computer and iPad knowledge is desired. Classroom AV knowledge desired. Willing to learn.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Our department is in operation roughly between the hours of 7:30am until after 8:00pm each day of the week. For consideration purposes, please let us know your work availability each hour during each day (including weekends). It is wise not to be too limited with your hours of availability. Students are paired with each other alongside selected staff members on designated shifts but can also be required to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

On-the-job training of the proper use of equipment is made available, however prior knowledge of computers, A/V presentation systems, as well as office skills is a plus.

Successful completion of criminal background check required for final candidate.
