Position Overview:
The Energy Efficiency Program manager will act as the primary point of contact to existing Utility and Government customers for their assigned E.E. programs and will guide internal efforts at ICAST to ensure program goals are met. A successful candidate will be up to date on technology and other innovations as pertinent to the energy efficiency markets to provide appropriate advice to ICAST and its clients for optimal solutions and process improvements.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience managing Utility or Government EE Programs
- Proven Program Management abilities i.e., ability to get work done by team members who are not direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of utility rebate processes, especially custom rebate programs
- Deep understanding of DOE’s Weatherization requirements and processes
- Building Science Knowledge
- Understanding of 3rd party M&V programs
- Understanding of Technical Resource Manuals and ability to converse with utility and stakeholders on energy savings methodology
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite of Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Innovative & Flexible
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passionate about environmental, social, or non-profit work
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Reports to: Director of Program Management
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Areas of Expertise: Program Management, DSM or WAP
Compensation: $80,000/yr DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing relationships with utility companies, Government staff, and other stakeholders in developing and managing EE Programs
- Guiding and facilitating internal ICAST activities as necessary to meet assigned EE Program goals
- Acting as the primary point of contact for energy data, incentives, and other stakeholder requests
- Provide oversite for any changes to EE Programs
- Developing reports for program updates, annual strategic plans, Management updates, etc.
