As a Manager, Analytics, you will partner closely with our VIP Acquisition team, which is responsible for identifying and building relationships with high-value customers. You will equip our customer-facing team members with data and insights to help them allocate their time to the highest-value opportunities and hold meaningful conversations with our customers. You will help VIP Acquisition leadership monitor the team’s performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure the overall impact of our VIP Acquisition efforts, so they can feel confident that we’re investing effectively. What you’ll do as a Manager, Analytics – VIP Acquisition:
- Manage a team of 3 strong analysts, ensuring they have the right priorities, providing guidance on deliverables and stakeholder interactions, and accelerating their professional development
- Identify and deliver initiatives to create step-change improvements in team operations through creative use of data and advanced analytics
- Develop models that identify high-potential customers as early as possible, guide front-line employees’ communications with customers, and optimize use of the team’s reinvestment budget
- Ensure the VIP Acquisition team has the right data and metrics in their internal tools and reports, delivered on time and with a high degree of accuracy
- Communicate drivers of monthly results to DraftKings’ executive leadership
- Lead goal-setting process for annual operating plan and tentpole events (e.g., start of NFL season)
- Work cross-functionally across other parts of the VIP org, other teams dedicated to our Sportsbook, Casino, and Fantasy products, and our Marketing organization
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline
- At least 4 years of business analytics or data science experience
- Experience leading a team of junior analysts and being responsible for managing, mentoring, and helping to grow their careers
- Ability to take complicated problems and build simple frameworks
- Comfortable presenting complicated data views to cross-functional audiences and senior leadership
- Expertise in SQL/Snowflake and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Experience with R, Python, or statistical programming languages is a plus
- Knowledge of statistics and hypothesis testing. Model building experience is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000.00 – $180,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
