Job Responsibilities :
- Perform detail design, development, documentation, debugging and implementation of solutions for Abinitio ETL requirements.
- Should have strong skills on Abinitio ETL design patterns and data architecture, UNIX and Db2.
- To provide end to end Abinitio ETL Design solutions and support Architecture in defining strategies. Leading team of designers and developers
- To understand the overall purpose of the projects and contribute to requirements & data analysis, and provide solutions from an Abinitio ETL perspective
- Delivery of low-level design documents with Abinitio ETL & DWH strategy, standards and adhering to Abinitio ETL & BIW principles & policies.
- Strong understanding of Abinitio ETL DWH and Report designs with functional and non-functional assessment for global implementations.
- Accountable for project related queries/issues.
- Should be well versed with following concepts –
- Co-operating System
- Using GDE Graphical Development Environment
- Using DQE Data Quality Environment
- Able to design end to end solution for complex case studies.
- Enterprise Meta Environment EME version control dependency analysis commands air commands sandboxes PDLs Metaprogramming.
- Working knowledge of at least one Job scheduler tool.
- Using all of the above components to create and maintain an enterprise data solution and rules execution.
- Must have hands-on experience with SQL Shell Scripting bash Korn shell scripting SQL performance tuning relational model analysis and data migration.
- Should have good communication skills and client handling skills.
- Strong knowledge in BI and Data Warehousing.
- Should be an excellent team member/lead and flexible in learning new technologies
- Should work with client SMEs and business directly
- Should be working in Fixed Bid execution model
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- 7+ years of success in consultative/complex deployment project architecture design implementation and/or support.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[85,280.00 – 138,920.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
