What we’re looking for:

TP-Link is currently looking for a candidate to join our Product Division as a community specialist with a focus on our SMB/Enterprise Community Forum. A position will require a candidate to:

  • Brand Ambassador: You will be the primary point of contact for Local SMB/Enterprise customers in TP-Link’s official Community. You will engage with our business customers, helping them find solutions or choose the right product for their needs. You will help create content that focuses on community growth and user activity.
  • Industry Research: You will review and monitor the industry and competitors to understand the needs of our customers and to further promote community growth.
  • Engagement-driven Content Creator: Using available resources create content that encourages user activity and growth of our SMB Community.
  • Community Manager: As the primary point of contact for the SMB community you will monitor and respond to threads, replies, stories, and KB articles found on our SMB community.
  • Reports: Provide monthly, quarterly, and on-demand reports related to the health of the SMB community

Requirements

  • Summarize main topics and problems customers report in community and give upper management team weekly reports
  • Drive community newsletters
  • Commute daily to Irvine office

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years managing a Community Forum REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of SMB product support will be preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or call/chat center environment. Will be preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Having Social community management experience will be- preferred
  • Having working Experience in the industry BONUS (Ubiquiti networks, Aruba, Cisco, Netgear, Ruckus, etc) will be preferred
  • Having copywriter experiences will be preferred
  • Experience in creating engagement-driven content
  • BA Degree from an accredited college (emphasis in technology, computer science, or computer engineering preferred)
  • Understand SMB/Enterprise products such as VPN routers, Access Points, Managed Switches, and centralized management systems
  • Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP/Azure/AWS/JNCIA/Etc.) preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Experience working in Campaign programs like MailChimp and Gleam
  • Be familiar with Google SEO
